    We are trying to figure out the use for this item. It has a cast iron toolbox on it with 1521 on it.

    We found out that it's an antique broom maker.

      looks like some kind of portable animal holder so the can work on them ...the left looks like for holding a head in place .. lol no clue but looks home made & straight off the farm it is ....gook luck ..

      It's a Broom Maker.

      you got it right Saylavi,
      a few years ago, I attended a historical show and gent was making corn brooms on a broom maker's bench like the one that you show. The wheeled area is where they kept the wire used to wrap the broom corn around the broom handle. In the tray below wheel, he kept his course twine, used to sew the broom bristles half way down on the broom. The tool box kept his broom maker's hammer and any other tools.
      This guy made a good buck selling brooms made in front of the buyers. We bought one and it works as good as, or better than any store bought broom
