Using discarded items and making them into something interesting is my favorite thing to do. This was a project that was started out of necessity as I had accumulated a large amount of random metal scrap stuff. So I just decided to begin assemble a sculpture. The time and difficulty of this piece is hard to see upon first glance so I included some close up shots. It holds a special place in my Office, it is an amazing conversation piece and people just like to stand and stare at it.
Looks like you may have some specific parts to make something more saleable or what is in style. If you do not know what Steam Punk is, you should learn. Just saying as I know nothing of you. I do know steam punk however and see a piece here and there where the artist really knew what he was tapping into. Or just look on ebay as it shows some good and the bad also.
