    (11 items)

The things around us are so well designed and the people who develop them have usually spent hundreds of hours figuring out how best and most efficiently to design and manufacture these basic everyday items. I am fascinated with these basic objects and the inherent beauty they hold. I try to recognize this beauty and use these everyday items and give them structure so they can be appreciated in an artistic way. The core of these pieces are everyday Staples, and some other construction fasteners.

Cool stuff. My father was into Ham radio & electronics for over 50 years. Basement was full of parts. He even taught license classes, crystal trouble shooting, digital fundamentals and a few other classes for hams. He also repaired radios as a hobby. People would send him radios from all around the country. He specialized in Collins radios. My sister made some cool pieces ..like a serving tray with radio crystals, jewelry and a few other things.

Dav2no1 love the stories and the cigar paper art. I just believe that Art and beauty is everywhere. Some people see it and some don’t. I enjoy seeing and hearing about people’s passion and what makes them happy even if it’s just briefly and no one else understands it.
