    When we were kids,, we never thought to ask how these wooden blocks were made.
    Now, looking at the ones from Aunt Lillian's toy basket, I wonder why some images are indelibly carved or deeply stamped into the wood and others are merely printed on the surface - and always in red ink, it seems.
    What is that Blockhead thinking?
