    at first glance, and especially if you look at it from the unnamed side, you would wager to bet that this is a hacksaw or maybe a meat saw.
    Wrong, look at the last photo and the raised lettering on the frame. It's a dehorning saw for cattle. Ironically, this is the second one that I acquired. The first one that I had was in bad shape, so, when this one came along, I bought it and sold the damaged one. the new owner was tickled pink to have gotten the one he did. I didn't have the heart to show him the much, much better one.
    The lettering on the frame is " S.H. Co. - DEHORNING SAW - ST. LOUIS MO."
    I have never since seen another.
