I was given this over the summer. It says 1946 on a sticker on it. Not sure if that's a true age on it. Or someones guess. But either way it works better than any of my new fans. Well besides the Dyson one. It is absolutely heavy metal. Solid weight fan. I'm guessing it needs a good cleaning and new grease possibly. I haven't looked into that yet. Any thoughts are welcomed. Thanks for looking!

I noticed that fan in your other post. It has the atomic age style cage of the 1950s and a pan style motor housing of older fans so 1946 sounds right. Do not recognize the brand. I'll look around and see If I have one like it.

Hi Lamplover78, i may be able to shed some light on your fan maker, but need a bit more info. What is the Diameter of the Fan Blade itself? How tall is Your Fan, from the ground up? Does the Cord Plug have a , 2 or a 3 prong Plug? Note, judging by the wire zip cord, and conventional flat blade screws, i would say 1946 is a good possibility so far.

      Take Care,

      LZ...
