These are items I picked up the last couple months. I would stop in shops when I had an out of town appointment.
The photograph of the Lady is by Ira L. Hill, hand signed and paper embossed with Ira L. Hills Studio, New York City. 1933 is below signature but written in ink and not pencil as his signature. It may have been added on reframing. I do not know who the Lady is but her face is a lot like his second wife Kathryn Carver who was a silent film actress.
The photograph of Ronald Reagan is marked Associated Press Photo And Lieut Ronald Reagan.
The 5 set is possibly a sweet sixteen or graduation set of a lovely young lady. It was done by Schan's Studio, Ft. Wayne.
I am sorry for the poor quality of my photos but I do not have that talent but thought I would post them before they go into storage. Enjoy and Thank You for looking.
A GORGEOUS woodgrained (quartersawn/tiger oak?) frame on the 5-portrait set of the lovely young lady! Also interesting that she did a 'costume change' amongst the 5 pics, wonder what that was all about...?? <lol>
Fabulous vintage photos, it is especially touching to see Lt Ronald Reagan in his service uniform, so young & handsome with that beaming smile
Wonderful pickings, you have a choice collection just here with the diversity !~
