      /me <LOL> Ed -- we do apparently have similar tastes in 'crap', but I doubt you have anything that's gone missing from here over the years -- if so, it's in a better home now... ;-) :-) :-)

      As far as cassette players, I actually had more of the sorta then-typical Bell and Howell machines, as I 'volunteered' to fix them when I was in Jr.High school, once I discovered I knew how to...I also got to keep the 'leftovers...still have a few little plastic drawersful of parts of those things though I also don't think I still have an intact machine anymore...??

      I first heard McKendree Spring on
      Beaker Street with Clyde Clifford.
      KAAY radio back in 1971 or so.
      They should have made an album of his spacey background music.
      I'd have bought it.
