1990 Hand Drawn Mixed Media Lynx Kittens
14 1/4" x 18 1/8" it's a large piece!

The artwork appears to have been created with colored pencil and crayons. It's super impressive! When I first saw it, I thought it was a photo. Up close you can see all the textures from the crayon. Look how nicely done the hairs are, so cool! And the eyes....amazing!
Piece is signed and dated by the artist. I need to find out who this person is, because I'd like more of these. Have to find a nice frame for it.
Photo realism is very difficult to achieve with animals. This artist is very talented.

Ha ha.. not sure what happened, but I bought several cat prints and got a free vintage cat photo..my dogs are going to be jealous!
Wow you are lucky ...I heard they can be territorial? Seen the videos of the one chasing a Squirrel up and down a tree. I mean..ALL the way to the top and back down..crazy. sone guy was in his tree stand and filmed the whole thing..

The 'big cats' (even when they're babies) are often more dangerous than they realize...it's what they're programmed for for 'life in the wild', and they might or not really know their own strength. BEAUTIFUL CREATURES anyways -- I also enjoyed your story of a 'firsthand meeting' Ms.CrystalShip, so very happy it turned out with only a good story to relate instead of what could have easily been worse. :-)
