Hello everyone!
This would be one of the smallest rabbits in my collection. It's porcelain surrounded by bronze vines. This was made by Albany China Company in Worcester England and you can see the Albany hallmark in pic #4. The fine detailing of this rabbit is outstanding. This fellow is extremely small, measuring only 1.50" long and 1.25" tall. I'm told that this piece is from the 1970's. Below is a bit of history of the Albany China Company.
The Albany Fine China factory opened in 1972, founded by by three former Royal Worcester employees - David Lovegrove, Bill Nichols, and David Palmer. Most of the artisans and sculptors were ex Royal Worcester workers. The company's heyday was the 1970's to 1980's. As tastes changed in Europe, work slowed. In 1987 Albany Fine China was bought out by cottage makers Lilliput Lane. They took manufacturing up to Stoke-on-Trent. They employed 175 people and made mainly fantasy wares in resin. Lilliput Lane sold the Albany Fine China division in 1990.
Thanks for stopping in!!!

Fabulous rabbit sculpture, the bronze vines give it a unique look you can imagine him scurrying thru the brush. Lovely piece!
Thank you Phil! He's actually made of porcelain.
Thanks RichmondLori!! All Albany Fine China pieces, that I've ever seen, are all incredibly detailed. This one is a nice example.

Thank you KinkiPlz!! I somehow knew you'd like this one:)
I am not a bunny person but we recently inherited a pet bunny and I adore her.
A perfect pet; quiet, feeds herself in the back yard, manures the garden, is curious and clever, and comes hopping to us whenever we go outside.
So of course I love your bunny too Scott!.
Its is beautifully modeled.
Really unusual! So small and detailed :-)
MERRY CHRISTMAS, SCOTT!
Thank you Karen!! Believe it or not, I've never owned a live bunny. Grew up on a farm and had all kinds of farm animals and pets, but no rabbits:)
Merry Christmas to you and your family Karen!!
