    This piece belongs to a friend of mine and i told him i'd try to research it. It's a small papier mache box - the size of a quarter if it were spheroid. Which means the tiny pieces in it are percentages of millimeters! Can anyone tell me where it's from and when it was made?

      i think this is the most amazing little boxes ever! Incredibly detailed and tiny work! where do you think it was made?

      It's incredible.
      I thought perhaps Persian at first but the flower icon seems to be the Japanese Chrysanthemum Seal.
      No idea really.
