Hi! I bought this beautiful ruby red/cranberry tall retromodern pitcher. It has no mark or signature. Its not scandinavian so i suspect maybe italian or English? It has no pontilmark. Its 30cm high. Does anyone have any idea who can be the maker?
    Regards Uffe

The item you have is Polish from the 60,s. The artist last name is hyphenated and is unknown to me. Had it written down but lost it. Have a piece with different shape but same coloring. Mine has polished pontil on base. Sorry I can not help you further. Have seen pieces passed off as Murano but it is not.

Did a quick search. The artist name is Jerzy Slucan-Orkusz. Not a well know artist but he did typical european style work. Rim on yours same as mine.

The colours of your pitcher are typical fo r Polish production of Tarnowiec glassworks and a desiner was Jerzy Sluczan-Orkusz as Noname said.He is one of the most known designers in Poland and his glass is experiencing a renaissance now.
