Hi everyone. Today I have this EAPG cake stand that I can only find as being "unknown"..."unidentified"....(which bugs the mess outta me at times lol). It measures 9 1/2 in wide by nearly 5 in high. VERY heavy as the main plate portion is just shy of 1/2 in thick! Alternating panels/ribs with a star center. I am hoping Sir Tallcakes may know a little something about this one. :) Thanks and enjoy.
The circular marks on the underside (last photo) are "straw marks" or more than likely something that happened while being made. Any ideas?

yep, it's hard to accept sometimes when patterns go unidentified. I have several in that category as well...

lol yes Tallcakes I agree entirely........I would be content just knowing the year. Judging only by quality of glass....manufacturing flaws...etc it appears to be an older one....maybe as far back as 1850s or so.
