    This is one of the first things I can remember seeing when I was too young to know how young I was.
    It's a simple cast aluminum trivet that was hanging on a wall in the kitchen in our old house.
    Mom gave it to me many years ago and I've displayed it in every place I've ever lived.
    It's currently hanging in our dining room, where I can see it every day.
    Such a simple thing.
    Such a cool memory!

      Ain't it wonderful how the "simple things" can also be the most meaningful ones in any of our collections, when they come along with such delightful personal memories. The wording on this trivet btw, also fits *my* house perfectly... <lol>
