Here is another odd ball Iwachu trivet. It measures just under 4" in diameter and sits on three rubber feet. I call this one the "weeds trivet" as I can't identify all of the plants pictured. It has the Iwachu mark on the back and came with the original packaging and documentation. It is new old stock, but I don't know when it was made. I cannot find anything similar. I bought a couple other odd ball Iwachu trivets, but they are all way over due in arriving, mainly because the sellers have been slow to ship them.
Thanks jscott0363, RichmondLori, Kevin and Blammoammo!
Thank you SEAN68 and dav2no1!
Thanks fortapache!
I love the images they put into iron.
I don't know if you recall them Kevin but one of the entertaining things for me in Japan were the iron manhole covers. They aren't just ribbed or checkered but have regional appropriate images on them, and they are often painted. It became a thing for me to check them out everywhere.
Thanks for your comment, Karen. I have seen manhole covers like you mention in Japan. I've also seen some like that in the U. S. in older towns or older parts of towns. I think there are a few in the town where I live, now..
Thanks for loving my latest Iwachu trivet dlpetersen and Thomas!
Thank you blunderbuss2!
Thanks Eileen! I was surprised to find this one and its brother. I have never seen anything else like this from Iwachu.
Thanks for loving my round trivet SEAN68!
