this is an Owl done in blue glass accented with the milk splatter breast with the solid wide eyes. he was was calling my name in the store, "Pick me-Pick me".
I love glass and really like the colors in this guy, I don't know much about the glass artist, there is a mark on the bottom of the owl that looks like a teardrop, other than that nothing. Stands at 12" , excellent details of the feathers and feet. There looks like his right eye has been chipped, but no, it is just the artist way of ending the piece - there are no chips at ll.
Nice hunk of glass. Any idea what it weighs?

What an unusual combination of glass techniques and types, eh?? The mark is a mystery to me. I had a quick Google survey of possibilities, but... nothing...

All I can say is Who ?? I love the owl in all the TV commercials, no glass-eyed owl here, he has his perfect vision so I know why he called your name, he is a big one too towering at a foot high !~
