    Just looking to get help to ID and Maybe an age. I'm not really sure if I want to leave it as is or restore it.
    the Lock has the Eagle lock Co. curved on top and U.S.A. in the Middle and then Terryville CT. curved on the bottom. any help would be grateful.

      This is a very common style trunk made by hundreds of trunk makers at the time, the lock was made by the eagle lock co. common style used for decades, the front latches I believe were patented in 1893 by O.D. Hunter, that would put your trunk around early 1890's to early 1900's, without a makers label hard to say who the maker was.

      Thank you I did find a new clue, on the handle (leather)was stamped 30 D 31 but the D was half the size of the numbers.
