Mechanics Supply Company was formed in 1889, Quebec, Canada. They were a wholesale, retail supplier for plumbing, heating, and electrical goods. The company became the Canadian agents for The Sumter Telephone Manufacture Co of Sumter, South Carolina, USA. Your wall phone was manufactured around 1913.

Very cool that it has the batteries. Unusual for the bells to be inside the phone.
