Although personally I do not share this sentiment, it is fascinating. This is a historic reminder that the anti-Police sentiment held by some in Seattle in 2020 has existed there for at least a half century. I find the usage of the Blue Fist in place of the usually seen Black Panther Fist quite interesting. There is a raw energy in this relatively simple placard.

Another really cool item Hippie! Years ago, i managed a program in San Francisco - housing for people with HIV. We purchased a large building on Market St and the basement was where Patty Hearst was kept hostage for many weeks. There was lots of very interesting graffiti on the walls put there by different members of the Symbionese Liberation Army [SLA] - her captors. Lots of it was anti-police stuff, but also some weird stuff pointing to fractions in different movements of the time. What a fractured time that was!
