While I was digging around in the upstairs coat closet this one was also handy -- most of the rest are hanging (or in boxes) in the basement.
It is unlabeled as to its maker, only having a tiny little tag or two with its size, cleaning instructions, and "made in Pakistan". anywhere in it. I bought it years ago at one of those 'pay $5 at the door flea market events' at a local expo center from some random vendor that had a whole round rack of nearly identical coats, pretty cheap, but while looking thru the rack I noticed at first feel that *this one*, unlike all the others, was much better quality in terms of its leather especially -- probably twice heavier than any other on the rack.
[and it was even in the part of the rack which was really my size?!! <happydance> ]
I just grabbed it and didn't ask any other questions while saying "I'll take this one"...?? <lol>
OH, I actually don't really wear this one much at all -- it (like the leather trench coat) was just one of those things that "I've always wanted one of"... <lol>
Cool! Two things I once took very seriously were motorcycling and backpacking, so I had my leathers and backpack custom made to fit me. I didn't make a lot of money back then, but I went to the best makers in Seattle for both and still have them.
