Franklin Mint 1963 Chevrolet Corvette

This year of corvette is very significant especially with the classic split window. This model has some strange cast defects in it. There seems to be a very large gap around the edge of each door. This was not a problem that could have been controlled, as this was an issue from the start when the model was designed. Sometimes if Franklin mint often had defects in certain aspects of a car, they would do a recall and send out a new improved model to appeal to meticulous collectors. But this model was never recalled. No case and no tag on this car.
