At 17 inches high, this is a pretty large glass sculpture of a spiral swirly thing. I couldn't find any signature on it anywhere. I have the perfect spot for it at the nursery. Does anyone know who might have made it? The base is chrystal. Found in a 2nd hand shop in Berkeley today.

I posted something similar a few months ago. It had a Murano label on it. Unfortunately, while I was researching it, I found that these are now being very competently reproduced in China and I cannot tell the difference between the Murano and Chinese made pieces. So, if they are not labeled, these glass sculptures are probably going to be hard to attribute.

i kind of guessed that kwqd! i seem to find those Chinese reproductions and agree that they are very well done. i don't mind and just admire the Chinese ability to work in so many different styles and media.
