This is another architectural "model" that I cannot identify.
Here are the salient details:
- The building is made of wood, carefully assembled, on a thin wood panel as a base.
- The window frames are inset with small pieces of textured glass, either clear or green.
- There is a little brass or tin bell that swings in the tower.
- The little green doors swing open and closed.
- There is a square opening cut into one of the roof planes, so you can see pews inside.
Height: 41 centimeters; Width: 55 centimeters; Depth: 44 centimeters
Given the wonky scale—such as the relationships between the doors and the windows and elevations—I wonder if this is a model of an actual church. Or is it perhaps a heartfelt or vernacular attempt at rendering a particular church somewhere?
