I have always wanted one of these cabinets. I got this one for $25.00 today. It has a huge flour sifter in it. It is in good shape.

My Granny’s cabinet had a sifter like that...but her cabinet had a counter/work surface below the sifter and a storage cabinet below the counter....a Hoosier Cabinet, I think it was called. The counter was metal. That was a great find for $25!

Great find ! I have a hosier cabinet but the flour sifter is missing . Great to find on tack. Mine has a bottom with large pull out bread board and a potato storage bin :-) Neat piece of history

      Happy New Year !

Watch and Mani...APPRECIATE YALL! I do not know what malady befell the bottom portion but figured I could always find a base of some sort to get it up to a useable height. IT looks like it was screwed to the wall at some point when I look at the top and the length of the screws. I don't know what color you would call this in its present presentation but at one point it was painted green and on the back of the cabinet it is stamped black and white.

I thought of your cabinet just yesterday when I was browsing Hoosier cabinets on EBay and came across a base portion which was missing it’s upper cabinet....priced significantly higher than your fantastic deal though!
I hope you can put it back to the way it designed to be. Just imagine, you could bake biscuits every morning just for the fun of using it!

Watch....you are making me hungry:) My Mama made the best biscuits in the world. I am keeping my eyes open for a suitable base and maybe even an original. Appreciate you!
