What I know:
My great aunt left me this radio. I received it in 1997.
The radio is a Raleigh.
The front panel reads: 18 Transistor 4 Band Twin Speaker DC<>AC
The label reads:
CAUTION - To prevent electrical shock, do not remove back. No user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified service personnel.
MODEL: 1485AC
117 VOLTS, 60 CYCLES, 5 WATTS
MFG: Raleigh Electronics Division
Kaysons International, Ltd.
The panel in the second picture has the DC<>AC switch, PHONE and AUX jacks.
The pictures don't show but the 4 Bands are detailed in picture as follows from top to bottom:
PB - Police Car in blue
AIR - Airplane in white
FM - Trumpet in yellow
AM - Football helmet in red
On the right side of the dial in the same color it reads:
POLICE
AIR CRAFT
MUSIC
SPORTS
Four knobs. From upper left to upper right to lower left to lower right:
Tune
Tone (above: L-R)
PB AIR FM AM
Vol> Off
Everything is in excellent condition, other than a minor leather tab loss off the battery compartment. Case is leather and fully intact. There are two white paint spots on the edge of the back and bottom where my aunt most likely made contact.
Can't seem to locate anything about this online. It seems like a high end type version and my aunt usually only bought things once. Don't know that I would sell period but any info would be appreciated. If you like Phish, what do you think of my ACDC Bag?
