1967 Franklin Mint Chevrolet Corvette

This car is probably my favorite corvette in the collection, and the most valuable, too. This car features opening doors, opening hood, steerable wheels, removable roof, and pop - up headlights. My favorite part is the pop up headlights. I think it is interesting that franklin mint incorporated this feature into this corvette, and not other corvettes, although there were other models which had this feature on the real car. For example, the 1968, 1978, and 1986 model year corvettes. This car is near mint with the only imperfection being that there seems to be light surface scratches all over the car, which I’m hoping to work on later. This car has no tag, and no case.

Question: anyone have any ideas on how to go about removing the scratches? I have meguiars ultimate liquid compound but I’m afraid it might be too much for the decals. Thanks!
