Here is a hit from the 50’s, a ford t-bird. Classic. I must say danbury mint did a fantastic job capturing the likeness of this vehicle. From the glossy red finish to the chrome detailing all over the car. This model may look mint, but sadly, due to the car being stacked in a box full of other cars for so long, the plastic bit that holds one of the front tires in place snapped, and now the wheel doesn’t turn simultaneously with the other whee like it should, and it flops around if you try to roll the car on a surface. But, with a little bit of care this car can still be displayed and it looks great. If anyone wants to check it out, there is a really cool retro ad on youtube that was shown in the late 80’s and early 90’s to advertise franklin mint die-cast cars.
