Got these in today and I believe they are Hubley. I say that because I think it looks like an H on the handle.

Nice! Guessing kids don't play "Army" or "Cowboys and Indians", or with cap guns any more. That was our meat and potatoes when we were kids. Back then, our parents could just open the doors in the morning and we would be out until it was time to come home for supper. We ranged widely.

Not a cap gun or hubley expert, but they appear to be hubley..

kwqd.....I know exactly what you mean. When I was a kid I did the same thing. We was in the dirt or the creek behind the house as soon as mama would turn us loose. Bicycles, cap guns and bb guns and hot wheels filled our days. Great memories! dav2no1..Appreciate you for the link and looking and loving!

These are great! I had a few cap pistols when I was a kid, but my holsters were always plastic. This is a much nicer set than I ever owned.

And don’t forget a stick and a dog to fetch it

Thanks jScott for looking and loving and the comment. I had my share of the plastic holsters too. They might have lasted a few days depending on how rough we got with them. Hey Ed....if we stayed in the crik too long mama had to pull the leaches off us before coming into the house. Them wuz the days!

Your cap gun was manufactured by J. Halpern Company of Pittsburg. PA The cap guns were referred to as Halco. This company sold many cap guns to large retailers, ke Sears, Roebuck & Co., Montgomery Wards
