here is a KJL - Kenneth J Lane - Crackle Cabochon ROARING LION Brooch, this guy is large. there are 10 crackle cabochon throughout his mane accented by clear rhinestones, his tail & nose are detailed in clear rhinestones as well. His eye is a green rhinestone.

Absolutely awesome KJL lion brooch, he's so regal and beautiful! What a gorgeous mane of cascading cabochons, and love that big green rhinestone eye. A real winner Lori, congrats on a most excellent find
Hello. So maybe I missed s0mething here - but I don't recall that I said this piece was vintage and if you look at the back side of the brooch closely you would see the CHINA mark. therefore this make it after 2000 and yes it was massed produced for QVC. Lori
It seems that some where along the way, the posting on the CW "Show and Tell" posting has taken a different direction amongst the collectors.
I started posting on CW as a way to share my items, browse through the many other items posted, hoped to learn from the experience and even make a few friends along the way that shared in the same hobby as I do.
That's how I understand (from the CW Help page )that describes "HOW DOES SHOW AND TELL WORK".
The use of the Show and Tell is only an avenue for us to SHARE our items. There is not specific instructions that denote we must research and chronicle our findings in our post. As a matter fact the instruction only refer too telling as much as we can (minimum 30 words). If there are some that want me to document everything I have researched on my posy for others to judge my knowledge and not to enjoy my post. then I have the wrong concept of CW.
I will continue to share my collections as I have, if my post are not up to someone else expectations, pass on by.

Eileen - please do not think I aimed my comment at you. It just so happened that you responded before me. I apologize if I sounded as though it was your input that I was addressing.
I was included (via email) with the banter earlier between several CW posters that I felt was unwarranted. By the time I got to answer the comments, it had stewed and I let it out. Hopefully the issue is over and we can all once again share. Sorry Eileen if I hurt you, unintentional. I respect your opinions and love your commentary, in fact I look forward them.

Valentino97 - thank you for taking the time to explain some of the issue with the posting and research. I started with CW as a way to learn and to share, thankfully I have experienced both from all the CW folks - I can respect the points you bring up and if I was too brass - I apoogize.
It seems that we all understand each of the others' opinions and I agree that if there is any information known at the time of the posting then yes, please include it. Let's keep doing the good post we have done, and let's all enjoy. thank you. Loti
