Japanese Vintage Vases

These were gifts from a merchant seaman friend back in the 1980s. I've had them stored since I had them. There is a painted mark on the bottom of the vases but, I can't tell who the artist is. I've seen the birds and flowers on other vases but with a different mark. Trying to figure out if they are worth anything.
