    I believe this to be some kind of hole digger/planter.
    There are square nails holding the hand wrought iron
    Strip around it and the wood has small worm holes in it. It is very well worn as the whole pointed end Is covered in what I believe to be iron and parts of it are missing, showing much use. The "T" handle has green paint( not sure of its originality) and is constructed in a "Tinnen" method.
