    Here is a signed, hand-built/wheel-thrown vase - thick walled and sturdy w/ a kanji signature on the base. Looks like a vase for a tea ceremony. I think it's gorgeous!

      i think it is a brush pot. that's what i'm using it for now. i really like this piece and would love to know more about it.
