    I guess it's a pitcher, but it looks more like a kendi! i'm having trouble getting my photos off my phone, so i don't show the other side. but it's all perfect. I read somewhere that this form is from the 1940s, but who knows?

      No, not the 1940s. This stamp was used on Nemadji pottery from 1973 to 1980. The form itself first appeared in the Nemadji catalog 1969-1972, was still in the 1973 catalog.

      The definitive reference on the topic is "The Myth and Magic of Nemadji 'Indian' Pottery, History, Identification and Value Guide" by Michelle D. Lee. If you can find it, it usually sells for more than the pottery itself. It will confirm.
