Empire Made Alarm clock

Hi everyone! Hope January has been kind to you so far! Still going through my Granny's things, and there are more mysteries. This clock has "Empire Made" on the lower part of the face and "Equity"on the upper part. Despite this,I can not find anything out about it! Can anyone help me find out the age or anything else?
