Little Orphan Annie Game from 1927!
One of the most vividly colorful games I've ever seen! The box, game board and game pieces are fully illustrated by Annie's creator and artist, Harold Gray.
The inside box cover lists other cartoon games available from Milton Bradley at the time.
How many of these newspaper comic strips do YOU remember?
Barney Google and Spark Plug,
Gasoline Alley,
Toonerville Trolley,
Reg'lar Fellers,
Moon Mullins
and
Andy Gump.
Notice the 2 different types of stands for the cardboard game pieces. One is painted wood, the other is pressed tin. Probably from 2 versions of the game released at different times.
Gloryosky! What a beautiful 94-year-old game!
Veeeerrrrry Nice
Thanks, Vynil!
Hey, for some reason, this game came with TWO identical boards!
Ain't that odd?
