The Game of Safety and Danger - A Gas Station Giveaway from Coca-Cola!

The Coca-Cola Company of Canada, Ltd. produced and distributed this game as a gift "To the Children of Canada". It is "Authorized by the Department of Highways of the Province of Ontario."
I can't find a date anywhere on it, but the style of the cars and trucks in the illustrations and the design of the Coca-Cola logo looks like late 1930s.
The game is a fun way to teach kids the safety rules that apply to pedestrians and motorists so that they can live a long and healthy life and buy lots of delicious, refreshing Coca-Cola!
The flat, full-color rotogravure printing on the game side of the 11 by 27-inch board is gorgeous with its illustrations of small towns, countryside scenery, period cars and pedestrians in various degrees of vehicular danger!
The object of the game is to get through the 120 steps from School to Home on foot without getting killed! The player is rewarded with advances for safe moves and penalized by having to go back several spaces for careless behavior. Space no. 24 says "Child endangered by car with defective brakes - Back to 16".
Space no. 100 says "Took licence number of hit and run driver - on to 104."
The reverse side is printed in dark green ink on light green cardboard. At the bottom, it says "You're safe when you drink Coca-Cola. You can be sure it is pure and wholesome, for "Coca-Cola" is a healthful carbonated beverage, made of pure materials in spotlessly clean, sanitary plants which are given the highest rating by Health Departments. Automatic machinery sterilizes every bottle, fills and seals it airtight without the touch of human hand."
