    This was found in the basement of an old motel on a lake in N.H.. I had the pleasure of scavenging through it before it was torn down to be redeveloped into condos.

      I have two of these (different design on one, that I brought from NH to FL with me 20 years ago. Mine are both tire spoons and I have to assume that is what this one is.

      I've done a little investigation and I think it could be related to the ice harvesting industry on the lake, ( an ice chisel/ slick) or maybe something related to wooden boat building( a timber slick), or some other wood timber related smoothing. Still wondering.
