      It isn't Native American, since the Navajo are the only U.S. tribe that weaves rugs on looms, and they use a unique type of loom (upright, with a continuous loop), which makes it physically impossible to weave a textile with fringe on both ends.

      I can't tell you for sure where it was made, only that it isn't N.A., and most likely is from either Mexico or a South American country, probably Ecuador.
