      Need better pictures that show the full badge front and back.

      My first reaction is fantasy piece.

      There are a lot of fantasy/reproduction pieces out there of this type-- usually the back gives it away.

      I believe that this piece is authentic. Note the#43 on the back. Can't really be sure, I'm new at this. Found this at a yard sale several years ago.

      The number on the back and how it is done, reinforces that it is a fantasy piece. Construction looks similar to some of the 1960s- 70s fantasy belt buckles (Wells Fargo, Colt firearms, Coca Cola....).

      Additionally a search online at the ATF site/ history of badges doesn't show anything close to it:
