Who Killed Aunt Cora?
Was it George the Artist, Mr. Perrin or Miss Lee? Could it even have been Beatrice, Rhoda or Higgins the Butler? Who knows?
Selchow & Righter, the makers of "Parcheesi", "Scrabble" and "Trivial Pursuit" know!
They created the mysterious "Mr. Ree! The Fireside Detective: A Thriller Game", a forerunner to the ever-popular "Clue", in 1937, which is evident by the style of the car in the driveway. This edition is from 1946 and has bold, new box art!
Just like "Clue", it has these cool miniscule metal murder modules that are hidden inside the brightly colored cardboard tubes and not revealed until the suspense-filled end of the game!
Next time I play Monopoly, I want to use this great little metal bottle of poison instead of my usual race car or top hat as my playing piece and see how long it takes to get a reaction when the other players notice it!
