pair of crystal candlestick lamps w/prisms

This pair of crystal (I think?) lamps got unpacked from not so safe storage today, then repacked in a much more appropriate fashion. Obviously, there was no "cleaning" also involved... frankly I'm not even certain how one would go about cleaning the things without disassembling all the prisms at least, and I don't know if I know how to do that...I sure don't wanna hurt/break anything...? <nono>

The bases and shades are roughly 4-1/2" across, they stand 14" tall (to top of bulb) without the shades, 20" tall overall. Nearly everything but the prisms is etched with some variety of decorative pattern. I have not located any maker's mark, nor do I know how old they really are. They have likely had at least their original power cords replaced, but appear to have always been electric lamps as there is a small indent in one bottom edge of each base to allow the power cord out from underneath.
