Just tossing this post together quickly since I can steal from the earlier post for the sister of this kyusu. My eyes are not happy about it, though. I shot this one at the same time as the Oitomi hisago kyusu as both came today, well yesterday, now. This Oitomi cast iron kyusu is about 6.25" long x 6" high, including spout and handle, and 5.5" in diameter and 2.5" high minus lid and spout. It came with an infuser and appears to be unused. It weighs 2.23 pounds. The molding is very fine and the design begs to be handled, very lush. It has a solid, hot worked twisted handle (classy!) and is marked by the maker in Japanese. The twin sister to this one had no infuser and is a different color, too boot, so I thought it worth buying and posting. Both were a bargain price and too good to pass up. These kyusu are not uncommon but usually are not cheap. I have also seen them in blue.
This style teapot is featured on the Oitomi page linked below and is an iconic Oitomi design:

I am good for about an hour on the computer, now, before my vision starts getting messed up. My eyes felt pretty good since I got up about five hours ago and now not so much. I think I may need to take a few days away from the computer....
Thanks fortapache!
Really like their handles.
Thanks for your comment, Karen! Yeah, I like the handles, too. It is a nice touch.
Thanks for your comment Eileen! I have two of these, one in green and one in gray. I prefer the gray, too. The green one is my every day teapot. It has some rust on it that requires seasoning so I use it the most.
Thanks for taking a look at my dragonfly themed kyusu couldbe, Eileen and Karen!
Thanks vcal!
Thanks Blueyecon!
