Interesting Brush Pot

I posted this before, but am still wondering about it. Someone suggested it's a brush pot and it works great for that! i lvoe the glaze. It has a large signature / kanji on the bottom . i hope someone recognizes it. I believe it's Japanese, but i could be wrong.
