This is a depiction of Mary and infant Jesus that I believe was made by a Carmelite nun in Japan. It’s a painting on silk measuring approximately 11x13” within the frame, signed and stamped in Japanese. I got it at a thrift store in New Jersey. Can anyone help with the artist’s name, an estimated age for the work, or any further information?

Thanks dav2no1. The image is nearly identical but the signature appears very different between the two. Do you know anything about its origin?
