This is a 12 place setting. It is missing one small piece. I cant find this pattern anywhere. Help would be appreciated.

Does it have a "stamp" on the bottom?
Yes. It's says fine hallmark of china with a picture of a Cannon.

It's beautiful, but I join Gillian in that question. There are thousands of china patterns, and having any information that appears on a back stamp can help narrow things down quite a bit.
No guarantees, but if replacements dot com has any china patterns from the same maker, one can narrow a search there further by specifying certain attributes like trim color, etc.
Please do edit your post and add a picture of the back.

You're very welcome. I actually didn't find those two variations on your pattern by the method I'd described earlier. That produced nothing.
I was just surfing the net and found an e-version of an old Replacements publication, and saw it in there. After I picked my jaw up, I went back to replacements dot com, and typed the name I found in the e-pub into the search box. Hey presto!
Believe me, I seldom get this lucky with china patterns.
BTW, I don't know if you know this, but replacements dot com isn't necessarily the best place to buy something (their prices tend to be quite dear), but it's a good resource for identifying the various pieces in a given pattern, etc.
Now that you know the maker and the name of the pattern, hopefully it will be much easier to find the piece you're missing.

I'm actually not really too concerned with replacing one salad plate. I was thinking more about having it appraised. It hard to do that when you have a huge collection but have no idea what it is. I thank you for your help though.
Ah. There is actually an appraisal service (not free) under the Barnebys corporate umbrella that you can access via the link at the top of the page, but I have no idea how it compares with other appraisal services.
