This is a product of the mid 1980's, during the period when the US Gov't "deregulated" Ma Bell prompting the initial round of collective telephinsanity...then the (primitive) cellphone came along shortly, and *now* look at us all...??

There is likely a date stamp on its underside, if not there it would be inside the underside. It probably tends toward the later models of these as it has fully 'modular' cords, the earlier ones had hardwired handsets but only modular line cords.

The company American Telecommunication Corp of El Monte, California was founded in 1967. There product trade name was called Decotel. There first decotel
phone was Mickey Mouse. They manufactured decotel phones for the Bell System, General Telephone Company, etc
