Bought this at an estate sale. I don’t have any information on this wooden sign. The address seems legit in England as a medical practice building. The language on the sign suggests it’s old given the description of services. Real or a reproduction?

No physician would display a sign with the word ‘physician’ mis-spelled.
I think you have a fantasy piece....certainly not an authentic doctor’s sign.

Correct-- it is a MODERN Fantasy item.

These became popular in the 1980s- 90s. Used to see them a lot in antique malls-- many priced/ purchased as authentic 19th century pieces.

Hope that you didn't pay much for this decorator piece?
