This is what we all woke up to yesterday, the actual snow is supposed to arrive over the coming weekend... <groan>
Fortunately it was just a light coating of ice (results of "freezing rain") here in the City, other parts of the State got much more. (or none at all...welcome to AR?!) Just enough to shut down most of the City most of yesterday (thats how we 'suthrener's' do snow/ice... <lol>) until at least late in the afternoon before everything started to refreeze.
FIRST TIME for Oreo puppydawg to experience all that cold whitish sh*t all over everything in her backyard and neighborhood -- these pics all taken roughly 0900hrs when she definitely still had a "WTF *IS* all this??" look in her eyes, by later in the afternoon when we went for our walk at least the streets were mostly clear and she was getting used to it, a little...??
Note in the 1st two pics the missing sections of lattice panel in my step railing...guess who did that...3rd pic is her (my) backyard, 4th is the temp in the carport. <brrr>
lots of snow here in eastern Pennsylvania... our cat got out last night and hid until this morning. She was sure glad to come in this morning. She was sleeping under the snow covered wood rack, where a little whimper directed us to her.
