    My wife discovered this today in an old jewelry box. I assume at one time there was a pin on the back so it could be worn on the collar or such.
    Pat. dates read 1884, 189?
    i have no idea what the letters or insignia represent.

      That's usually the way it goes: a mystery for years, and then you see one everywhere you turn! lol
      Maybe taking the pin to one of their lodges they will give you some info.

      Esther that is sure true. I certainly found the right place to inquire about it.
      We collect everything so i'll tell the wife to just throw it back in the box …It was probably her Mother's pin that she got from who know where.
