By 1956, Parker Brothers were assured that this "Disneyland" thing wasn't just a passing fad!
So they made games out of TOMORROWLAND, FANTASYLAND, FRONTIERLAND and this one, ADVENTURELAND!
You and your little painted metal swamp boat meander along down the river, gathering pictures of animals and jungle scenes every time you land on a camera icon!
Just like the Jungle Cruise Ride at Disneyland!

      Ms.CrystalShip, when I was 7 years old,
I was given a game that had cardboard playing pieces.
I thought the end of civilization was near!
It really made a difference in the perceived quality of the game!
I expected ALL games to have pieces like in Monopoly.
      Hard, metal, serious playing pieces!
      There oughta be a law!
